Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza host their very own gaming tournament targeting Egypt’s growing gaming community

 

  • Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza launch their very own gaming tournament from September 17 to October 1
  • The tournament focuses on popular games such as Call of Duty: Warzone, FIFA, PUBG MOBILE and Valorant providing participants with a total prize money of EGP 380,000

 

Cairo, Egypt, X September 2021: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, hosts its first fully-fledged gaming tournament from September 17 to October 1 across its flagship malls – Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza. The event aims to cater to Egypt’s rapidly growing gaming community.

 

The on-ground gaming arena includes a number of distinctive gaming zones equipped with PlayStation devices, mobile devices and PC’s. The arena also provide gamers with its very own merchandise and customization corner offering guests the chance to customize their gaming equipment.

 

With this launch, Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza provide gaming fanatics with a space and platform to compete across PlayStation, PC and mobile games such as Call of Duty: Warzone, FIFA, PUBG MOBILE and Valorant. Each mall are hosting a separate 14-day tournament that will be played in parallel with one another creating a final match between the West – Mall of Egypt and the East – City Centre Almaza.

The gaming arena is now open to the public at Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza and will be available until October 1.
