At Majid Al Futtaim, we continue to strive towards our region-wide vision for sustainability by reducing electricity, water consumption and environmental impacts from transportation across our properties. With that, Mall of Egypt is proud to announce that it has been awarded the LEED Gold certification, making it the first mall in Egypt to achieve the certificate.  
Since opening its doors, the mall has reached energy saving levels of 18% where the existing solar panels produce 7.5% of the mall’s energy, as well as water reduction levels of 31%.
