Cairo, Egypt, 28 June 2022: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has launched the Elle Studio pop-up shop in partnership with leading enterprise – Entreprenelle – with the aim of empowering and championing local female fashion designers. Open to the public from June 15 to July 15 at Mall of Egypt, this jampacked immersive experience is not to be missed.

Bringing together over 20 of some of the most popular home-grown fashion brands, including House of Asma, the Fashion Co, Kahlo Designs and Ontinée, among others – the Elle Studio pop-up shop showcases the latest trends and reveals the latest in industry developments, where guests can take part in workshops and talks by inspirational fashion figures. This builds on Mall of Egypt’s drive to support local talent and share inspirational stories from members of the community – a testament to its commitment to the surrounding society.

Commenting on the initiative, Rasha Azab, Managing Director of West Region Shopping Malls at Majid Al Futtaim – Properties, stated: “At Majid Al Futtaim, we not only focus on providing elevated shopping experiences to our valued customers, but we also look to ensure our community is at the heart of everything we do. Through our partnership with Entreprenelle, we have been able to provide over 20 local fashion designers with a platform to showcase their designs at our flagship property – Mall of Egypt – and we look forward to continuing to drive the conversation with such empowering initiatives in the near future.”

Rania Ayman, Founder and CEO of Entreprenelle, added: “It truly takes a village to support local designers. This partnership will impact lives directly and indirectly, giving hope and pushing designers beyond what they believe they can do, so they can grow, prosper and indeed inspire!”

The exhibition is open at Mall of Egypt’s Valley until July 15, and it will later make its way to the East side of Cairo at City Centre Almaza.
